The dictionary has a pretty unbeatable definition, but I'll attempt an elaboration in context.
When working with lower budgets, I try to minimize shoot time and quantity of video footage so that editing can be concise. For a small business client, for example, I have leveraged her existing videos (which had great content) to recreate an intro video that is more dynamic, more engaging, and shorter. I was able to make this happen with a very limited budget, and the quality of the video is still excellent, both of which delighted my client.

For TV, I worked as a Chief Video Editor, editing "coming next" Teasers for shows like Law and Order SVU, CSI, or House, MD. Pretty cool, right?
